Chayanne was born 29 of June of 1968 (now 46 years) in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.His real name is Elmer Figueroa Arce, he is singer, composer, dancer and actor "Puertorriqueño".
His father is Quintino Figueroa, sales manager, and his mother is Irma Luz Arce, teacher of english she deied because cancer.
He has two brothers and two sisters, he is the third child.
He began using the stage name "Chayanne" when he was only 9 years old because your mum liked a series named Cheyenne.
Chayanne is married to a lawyer "venezolana", Marilisa Maronesse, miss Venezuela in 1988, have one son Lorenzo Valentino and one daughter Isadora Sofía.
Chayanne participated in "Telenovelas" and starred comedy series "Generaciones"
He had a group "Los Chicos", they separated in 1983.
